Elmendorf Tear Test

Tensile Strength Test
Under the action of pure tensile force, the ratio of the maximum load that the plastic film can bear (without breaking to the width of the stretched film) is divided into warp and weft tensile strength. Warp tensile strength is the tensile strength when stretched along the warp direction of the film. Weft tensile strength is the tensile strength when stretched along the weft direction of the film.
